Extreme Optimisation has released version 1.1 of the Extreme Optimisation Mathematics Library for NET.

Extreme Optimisation, a provider of numerical components for Microsoft's NET platform, has announced the release of version 1.1 of the Extreme Optimisation Mathematics Library for NET.

The Extreme Optimisation Mathematics Library for NET includes classes for complex numbers, polynomials, curve fitting, solving equations, numerical integration and differentiation, vectors, matrices, matrix decompositions and various special functions.

The linear algebra code uses processor optimised versions of the standard BLAS and Lapack packages.

The new version adds support for cubic splines, linear interpolation, and modified Bessel functions.

Other enhancements include increased usability of the numerical integration and equation solver classes, and improvements of up to 50% to the performance of the matrix routines.

The Extreme Optimisation Mathematics Library for NET is available for purchase from $495 for a single developer licence.

A free 15-day evaluation version is available for download from the Extreme Optimisation website.
