High accuracy from plasma cutting
machine

Esab Automation's new Eagle cutting machine is specifically designed for precision plasma applications.

Esab Automation's new Eagle cutting machine is specifically designed for precision plasma applications It combines high productivity, exceptional accuracy and sophisticated process integration to deliver the highest cut of quality parts at the most economical price

Speeds up to 30m/min can be achieved.

The Eagle is simple to use, giving independent cut quality of parts in a high productivity environment.

The machine can automatically change from cutting to marking to further enhance its flexibility in modern workshops.

The design includes a low level precision beam supported by side carriages with optimum positioned running wheels to give the machine solidity.

The twin sided synchronised rack and pinion drives together with the linear guiding system give the highest accuracy throughout the entire cutting area.

These features help to ensure rapid response to the cutting direction changes required for high quality plasma cutting.

The plasma carriage is designed to incorporate all the latest enhancements in plasma cutting to give a sophisticated fully automatic torch height control together with collision protection.

Other features including high-speed torch raise and lower; patented pre-flow and pre-switch of plasma gases; multiple predefined cutting areas and the ability to fit two plasma systems to the machine also enhance performance.

All these features promote higher productivity.

The Eagle uses plasma cutting systems that deliver pinpoint accuracy and a narrow kerf width and high quality cutting.

Smooth cut surfaces, narrow heat affected zones and minimum plate distortion are also provided.

When used with Esab's Vision PC controller, automatic setting of all the machine and plasma parameters including gas pressure and type is possible.

This is achieved by selection of the appropriate thickness on the supplied database.

This system enables consistently cut quality to be achieved irrespective of the operator's skills or experience.

Set up times between different thicknesses and different materials are dramatically reduced ensuring high productivity. Request a free brochure from ESAB ...
