Welding power source suits outdoor use
The Caddy Arc 251i provides an adjustable hot start to help avoid starting problems, adjustable arc force for improved weld quality and electrode type selection to suit weld material.
Power sources boost tube weld quality
Orbital welding can be carried out more productively and at lower cost by using new additions to the ESAB Aristo range.
Both have an Alutech extruded aluminium chassis to withstand rough treatment, a dust filter for protection in harsh environments, and an enclosure to IP23 standards.
Reliability along with outstanding welding characteristics are provided by the inverter IGBT technology based power source, whilst the communications and control CANbus system, having less cables, further increases operational reliability.
AristoArc 400A and 500A power modules are both available with a choice of two control panels to suit individual requirements.
The A2, with just two control knobs, enables setting and adjustment of welding current and arc force.
The more sophisticated A4 control panel has one knob for welding current settings and adjustments, along with soft buttons for selection of electrode type, hot start adjustment and arc force.
An easy to read digital display to indicate current/voltage further eases operation.
An optional multivoltage unit is available for both machines, either added on to the power source as a complete unit, or as a separate stand-alone unit with integral handles for ease of transport.
For MMA applications, AristoArc 400 and 500 are able to weld most metals to alloyed and nonalloyed steel, stainless steel and cast iron, with electrodes up to 7mm and gouging electrodes up to 10mm (AristoArc 500). Request a free brochure from ESAB ...
