A move to new purpose-developed premises close to Ireland's expanding motorway network has helped Esab Group (Ireland) to maximise business efficiency and improve service to customers Investment in up-to-the-minute storage and handling facilities and upgraded computer systems is aimed at ensuring fast response while maintaining a stock profile that closely matches local requirements

The company became part of the Esab Group in 1984 following Esab's acquisition of the Welding Division of BOC Gases.

It has over 50 years continuous experience of serving the Irish fabrication sector and is now the largest manufacturer-owned welding and cutting specialist in Ireland.

Managing Director Noel Archbold comments: "The new building is a great improvement over our previous headquarters; we've been able to develop the facility from scratch and tailor it to meet modern day requirements.

From an access and distribution point of view the property is conveniently situated - close to the Red Cow interchange on the M50 - while our computer systems link into those of the Esab Global network".

Esab Group (Ireland) is a one-stop shop for all Esab branded welding and cutting products in Ireland, ranging from welding rods to large CNC cutting machines and automated welding cells.

The principal market leading brands carried are Esab and Murex.

"We're here to provide support for anything that the customer wants", Archbold added.

"At local level and in addition to our own sales and technical staff we have an excellent distributor network.

This numbers some 25 companies, ensuring highly professional coverage throughout the Republic of Ireland.

We also have access to the specialised technical support of Esab AB should the need arise, thus giving us the unique capability to service any welding or cutting project from a fully accountable single source". Request free introductory details about products from ESAB ...
