Power sources boost tube weld quality
Orbital welding can be carried out more productively and at lower cost by using new additions to the ESAB Aristo range.
To celebrate Livermore's recent move to new premises after 41 years at the previous address, the company recently held two successful open days.
Esab supported the open days by running "live" demonstrations with a selection of welding machines.
Keen interest was shown in the Aristo modular welding systems and the AristoTig 3000 power source in particular.
The QSet system for automatic parameter setting was also popular with visitors, and the open days proved to be a good opportunity for people to try Esab's latest Eye-Tech auto-darkening welding helmet.
What particularly impressed the staff at Livermore the most was the quality of the visitors.
The firm's largest customer, a bridgebuilder from Chepstow, travelled to Cardiff, and many of Livermore's established customers took the time to visit the facilities, watch the demonstrations and spend time talking to the welding experts from Esab and Livermore.
Bob Hellin, Livermore's Managing Director, comments: "The two days went really well and we even secured a number of orders".
"Existing and new customers appreciated being given the opportunity to see the facilities and have an informal chat over a cup of coffee".
"And not only did we get the time to build relationships with customers, I feel that we also strengthened our ties with Esab".
He continues: "Esab contributed a great deal to the success of the open days in terms of personnel and equipment for demonstrations, and we are extremely grateful for that".
"Esab really helped us and our customers to gain the maximum possible benefit from the two days". Request free introductory details about products from ESAB ...
