With electrodes from ESAB Vacpac vacuum packaging, costs of climate controlled storage and handling are completely eliminated.
Vacpac provides security and is designed to make a welder's life easier in applications such as offshore and pressure vessel fabrication, petrochemical, food processing and construction sites, plus other situations where the prevention of cold cracking or porosity is crucial.
MMA electrodes can be used straight from Vacpac without the need to rebake them and store them temporarily in holding ovens and quivers.
The laminated, multi-layer aluminium foil is vacuum sealed around a strong plastics inner box, effectively protecting the electrodes against moisture re-absorption from the air.
