Wrench set eases hard to access jobs

A Facom UK product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 15, 2007

Facom, Europe's leading tool provider, has further extended its range of high-quality wrenches for its professional end-user customers by launching two new designs of ratcheting combination wrench.

Facom has released two new designs of ratcheting combination wrench.

Available in Facom's latest Wrench Clip set to offer end-users a useful and practical way of storing the most commonly used wrench sizes, the new tools have been designed to maximise performance, speed and durability for engineers and mechanics.

The new 67S series ratcheting combination wrench clip set is a shorter version of Facom's 67 series for smaller and harder to access jobs, containing six wrenches in sizes from 8 to 14mm.

For fast fastening and loosening, the 67S series features a fine tooth ratchet mechanism at ring end, a recessed change lever to prevent accidental direction change and a high-performance construction to prolong the life of the tool.

The Facom 65 series gives a new take on the traditional ring wrench design by combining the versatility of the ring wrench and adding the precision ratchet mechanism.

Available in the six-piece wrench clip in sizes from 8 to 19mm, the new design means both ends are offset to 15 degrees for ease of access.

David Osborne, Head of Marketing at Facom, said: "At Facom, we are constantly looking to introduce new products to our existing range that will specifically add value to our customer's businesses".

"Both these ratchets are fitted with Facom's high-precision, 72 tooth, five degree working arc mechanism as standard and come with our unrivalled product warranty, giving end-users peace of mind that these tools are manufactured to the highest of industry standards".

The new Facom 67S series and 65 series will be available at Facom distributors from August.
