Canadian cameras arrive in Europe
Framos has joined forces with Lumenera Corp, a Canadian manufacturer of digital imaging products, to launch its product line of industrial and scientific cameras in Europe.
Cost-effective price for megapixel image capture
The latest additions to the Lumenera LU120 series of 1.3Mpixel machine vision cameras offer the benefit of high-speed, megapixel image capture at extremely cost effective prices.
The Infinity 1 is a cost effective option offering 1280 x 1024 resolution.
Due to the low noise characteristics of the 1.3Mpixel image sensor it achieves crisp colour for the most demanding microscopy applications.
It provides full colour sub windowing for rapid focus and scanning of samples - 15 frames per second at full 1280 x 1024 resolution and 60 frames per second at 640 x 480 resolution.
The camera also features live video preview for real time focus and auto-exposure/auto-white-balance for capturing optical images.
It can be integrated to third party applications through the TWAIN drivers, and with plug and play installation, and no frame grabber the device is easily installed on both laptop and desktop computers.
The Infinity 2 is a 1.3Mpixel CCD versatile option offering many of the same features as the Infinity 1 solution, but aimed at low light conditions.
Its 1.3Mpixel CCD image sensor allows users to capture high quality images over a wide range of lighting conditions.
Finally, the Infinity X digital camera is a flexible microscopy tool particularly for use where high-resolution images are a must.
Users have the flexibility of choosing between 1.3, 5, 12 and 20Mpixel resolution by shifting the 1280 x 1024 pixel array of a 0.5in colour sensor, allowing them to capture the sharpest images possible, and with patented technology giving the most accurate colour.
All models support Windows 98/SE, 2000, Me and XP operating systems, and full technical support is offered by Framos.
