The Jamicon range of 40mm DC fans is now available in three different frame types, making them ideal for applications from cost sensitive products such as modems to professional electronic systems

The Jamicon range of 40mm DC fans from Fan Technology is now available in three different frame types.

Each is value engineered to provide different frame strengths allowing designers to optimise performance and budget considerations.

All built in the 40x40x10mm frame size, these highly cost-effective fans are available in 5 or 12VDC, are capable of airflow up to 6.4CFM and have an operating temperature range from -10C to +70C.

They are available with either sleeve or ball bearings or a combination of both providing lifetimes up to 50,000 hours.

Because of the different frame strengths and prices, these fans will prove ideal for applications ranging from cost sensitive products such as low cost modems to professional electronic systems.

The 40mm frame size makes them particularly suitable for 1U rack systems.

For additional flexibility three different fixing methods are available and all fans in the range can be supplied with special connectors.
