Fan Technology now supplies a range of metal-framed equipment fans that are fitted with threaded holes that greatly reduce fixing times and lower production costs The standard 4.3mm clearance holes incorporated into most equipment fans involve a time consuming process to fix with the aid of nuts, bolts and washers

The often-used alternative of fitting threaded inserts is also a comparatively costly process.

The threaded range from Fan Technology contains fans built in eight frame sizes ranging from 80 to 127mm and operates from a supply voltage of 120 or 230VAC.

Dual voltage versions are also available.

Generating airflow in excess of 120CFM and carrying UL, CSA, VDE and TUV approvals, these new fans will be of great value to all enclosure and instrument cabinet manufacturers.
