Frameless or bracket fans are extremely useful when designing a cooling system in a small enclosure or retrofitting a fan in a space too small for a framed fan

Now available from Fan Technology is the Adda range of 'frameless' or bracket fans.

These fans are extremely useful when designing a cooling system in a small enclosure or retrofitting a fan in a space too small for a framed fan.

Previously only built to meet special customer orders, they are now available in smaller quantities.

Operating from a nominal 5VDc supply, the Adda bracket fans provide a high degree of design flexibility being available in five impeller diameters ranging from 35 to 53mm and in six thicknesses from 5 to 10mm.

Various fixing arrangements are also available that suit many different types of enclosures.

Bracket fans can also be fitted easily into air tubes or ducting systems.

Another major advantage of bracket fans is the low operating noise levels that mean that they can be fitted into desk top equipment and operate well beneath ambient office noise levels.
