Fan Technology has a 127mm-square, AC axial fan with two sets of fixing holes.

One set is at 113.5mm, the normal pitch for 127mm fans and the second at 104.8mm, the standard for 120mm square fans.

This means that designers can either build systems using the normal fixing holes or, if required, upgrade cooling systems by replacing 120 x 120mm fans with fans of increased airflow with no electrical or mechanical changes to the cabinet or enclosure.

The requirement to upgrade systems is increasing because of the growth of miniaturisation in a highly competitive marketplace.

The FanTech UF13A series is a 127 x 127 x 38mm fan that operates from either 120 or 230V AC with dual voltage versions also available.

Airflow capability is up to 120ft3/min, nearly 20% more than a typical 120mm fan.

It is UL, CUL.CE and VDE approved.

The fans can be supplied with clearance or threaded holes and bespoke connector attachments are also available that can either be terminal pin connections or flying leads of any length.
