Commenting on the event Tim Welch, General Manager, Farnell UK says: "The concept of the Open Day is to bring our key customers and suppliers together.
This year we had the unique opportunity to work with our sister companies CPC and Buck and Hickman.
This gave our customers the chance to explore what is new in their respective markets and offered all our suppliers the opportunity to showcase their products to a wider customer base.
The response we have received so far is very positive, especially from the people who attended the 'Challenge Program' presentations, a fact which recognises our hard work and reinforces our business choices." Keith Kitson from Peak Communications, one of Farnell's customers adds: "Farnell has changed quite a bit over the years, introducing new product ranges and cutting-edge technology, so it is very useful for the customers to see in what direction the company is going and what it has to offer to their respective markets, in our case the radio-frequency-world.".
