Technical product distributor, Farnell has added four new series of linear and logarithmic Spectrol potentiometers to its passive components portfolio.
The magazine covers the latest and best products available on the market for process, control and production engineers including, for the very first time, publication of 1000 new products now available from the automation range, ahead of their launch in the main Farnell catalogue later this year.
In addition, Farnell Findings provides expert features on industry news and trends, tips on how to get the optimum performance from products, as well as helpful guides to navigating through relevant product legislation.
This announcement comes on the back of months of intensive research by Farnell into its customer base, as part of its ongoing drive towards increased customer segmentation, providing highly tailored services and products for individual clients.
The new Farnell Findings magazine was developed in response to detailed Farnell surveys exploring the needs and preferences of process, control and production engineers.
Commenting on the launch, Seth Townsley, Editor of Farnell Findings for Process, Control and Automation says: "This is the product of a lot of hard work by the Farnell team to really understand what our customers want in this market segment.
It's a unique publication because it combines products from some of the world's largest and best manufacturers, with expert knowledge about the marketplace.
Historically, distributors have issued a basic product catalogue once or twice a year, but today we're doing much more than that - we're providing information and other added-value services which help our customers to do their jobs faster and more effectively.
That's why the magazine comes in a glossy, durable format, because it is something which engineers will want to put on their shelves and refer to over and over again".
