Fusion welder improves plastic pipe
joints
The installation of high-purity plastic piping systems has been made easier with the introduction of the Sani-tech SIB fusion welding tool, and FCX Performance has procured two of these devices.
The installation of high-purity plastic piping systems has been made easier with the introduction of the Sani-tech SIB fusion welding tool, and FCX Performance has procured two of these devices to better serve its customer base The devices are currently housed in the FCX Amsco Fairfield and Sewell, New Jersey office locations
The SIB technology creates a smooth interior surface at the tubing weld eliminating all beads, crevices and intrusions into the field stream.
Because of the smooth surface, the areas for contaminants and bacteria to collect are reduced.
The updated SIB 2 tool offers several improvements including: faster weld times, increased weld identification and traceability, improved durability, and ease of use.
