Charlie Simon, President and CEO of FCX Performance, has acquired FCX Performance, the US flow control distribution and service operations of FCX International.

Charlie Simon, President and CEO of FCX Performance, has acquired FCX Performance, the US flow control distribution and service operations of FCX International.

FCX Performance, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, has 17 operating locations covering 22 states and annual sales in excess of $100 million.

Commenting on the acquisition, Simon noted: "This is a tremendous opportunity to re-acquire a business that I originally started in 1984".

"FCX Performance is well-positioned to capitalise on improving industry fundamentals, as well as, to embark on an aggressive acquisition strategy".

FCX Performance is a market leader in the US flow control distribution industry and has significant expertise in many process industries including pulp and paper, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, alternative energy and utility markets.

FCX Performance provides engineered flow control products and services with high technical added value.
