Baars was the Deputy General Manager and a part owner of Ventil Valves and Controls before it was acquired by FCX in 2000.
Since then he has made a significant contribution to the ongoing success of FCX Ubel and Ventil as its Product and Marketing Manager.
In the new role he will play an integral part in the planned development of FCX Europe.
Darren Shepherd has been appointed as Sales Director for Industrial Products with a remit for developing worldwide business opportunities for FCX's range of Maxseal and IVP commercial products principally through the network of FCX companies, but also through other associated distribution companies.
Alberto Aliani joined Orton in December 1998 as Sales Manager.
He became Sales Director in 1999 and in February 2004 was appointed Deputy General Manager.
Aliani has an engineering background and many years experience in valve development and design.
Other internal appointments include Guy Leysen as the General Manager of FCX Prometal in Belgium; Francis Carpio as General Manager of FCX Truflo Rona, which is also located in Belgium and Eric Hermus, who has been appointed as Deputy General Manager of FCX Ubel and Ventil in Holland.
