FCX Orton has appointed Davide Zirondelli as Vice President Sales and Marketing for North America and Mexico.

FCX Orton has appointed Davide Zirondelli as Vice President Sales and Marketing for North America and Mexico Zirondelli, 49, will be based in Houston, Texas, to help the company penetrate the US market with its range of triple eccentric metal-seated valves for use in the petrochemical, LNG and power generation industries, and large diameter butterfly valves in power plants

FCX Orton's Deputy General Manager, Alberto Aliani is delighted at the appointment: "FCX Orton's products are now fully accepted by the US engineering and procurement contractors who are handling a huge number of projects both in the USA and internationally".

FCX Orton is based in Piacenza, Italy and has recently undergone a major expansion and investment programme.

The company has seen a huge increase in demand for its MV (Royal) metal-seated triple eccentric cryogenic valves during the past year which will have wide application in the booming LNG markets, both for receiving terminals in the USA and liquefaction plants internationally.
