Orleans

In conjunction with the 2004 General Assembly, the foundation will hold a worldwide end user meeting.
Open to the public, the meeting will present fieldbus application case studies representing a wide range of industries and regions of the globe.
General Assembly delegates can also participate in end user and integrator training workshops conducted by The Fieldbus Centre at Lee College (Baytown, Texas) and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (Calgary, Alberta, Canada).
According to Fieldbus Foundation President and CEO Richard Timoney, the 2004 General Assembly will include an expanded programme reflecting the dramatic increase in Foundation fieldbus adoption around the world.
"Each year, this event grows to keep pace with the market's interest in fieldbus, and to provide in-depth information that is in demand among those implementing the technology", said Timoney.
"We anticipate that the 2004 General Assembly will be the largest annual gathering in foundation history".
Timoney indicated that the final agenda for the 2004 General Assembly will be announced in the near future.
The programme is expected to include presentations by prominent global companies that have implemented Foundation fieldbus and are now realising significant business benefits from the technology.
All General Assembly delegates will receive a CD containing copies of the end user presentations, workshop materials, and technical documents such as the foundation's new system engineering guide, technical overview, and more.
