Magnom technology has been adopted by a leading Formula 1 team to protect its performance transmission.

Magnom technology has been adopted by a leading Formula 1 team to protect its performance transmission.

Already used as standard by Lola Cars within its Le Mans and F3000 cars, the Formula 1 recognition is further proof of the Magnom's outstanding ability in this environment.

By virtue of its unique patented design the Magnom fluid conditioner is able to indiscriminately remove the most harmful of contaminants down to under 1 micron from the transmission fluid, thus arresting the severely damaging chain reaction of wear.

Further benefits recognised are the option of fitting the Magnom prepump giving critical component protection and the ability to access it for condition monitoring of the system.

Even when fully loaded the units do not introduce an increase in pressure drop and are easily cleaned and therefore re-useable.

The ability to scale the Magnom technology to suit its environment means that it can be used within the complete range of transmission applications including motorcycles, automotive, heavy truck, construction equipment and large industrial applications, either as re-useable or fit for life solutions.

Fluid Conditioning Systems, the company set up to commercialise the Magnom technology, is also rolling it out into the aerospace, hydraulic, machine tool and fluid management market sectors.
