A new release of Federation's software marks the latest development in the company's signature software, the keystone in end-to-end PLM system product DNA sharing.

Federation Software has announced the release of the Independent Platform Gateway (IPG) Version 4.0.

This new release of Federation's software marks the latest development in the company's signature software, the keystone in end-to-end PLM system product DNA sharing.

"The goals achieved with IPG version 4.0 include strategic customer enhancements, along with further expansion of the IPG that dramatically enhances customers' product DNA sharing across PLM systems in their supply chain", says Federation CEO, Kirk Hanes.

"Secondly, we have implemented new technologies and enhancements that dramatically improve the rapidity of implementation".

"With IPG 4.0, we have been able to deploy and make production ready our customers' ability to federate product data in less than half the time of previous versions".

Federation's IPG 4.0 enhancements include: improved performance, enhanced monitoring and recovery, reliable error handling, improved usability, expanded platform support, a quicker installation process, and alternative transport capability.
