A new pneumatic products and stockists services catalogue includes over 50 key new products introduced by Festo.
The catalogue focuses on the unique depth of service offered by the company's Premier Stockist Network which can deliver essential items across the entire Festo product range - including the recently extended emergency cylinder service.
The new catalogue is entitled 'Premier products and services 2002/2003' and is available from over 50 locations giving a true localised support infrastructure.
Each catalogue gives details of the specific local services, capabilities, complementary products, special skills and support resources offered by each stockist in order to provide customers with a unique and comprehensive reference point for sourcing Festo products.
"Our stockists provide a vital solution as part of the supply chain", says National Resale Manager Stuart Gittins.
"Aside from the local support, inventory and applications expertise, they really come into their own by providing the comprehensive rapid breakdown of maintenance service needed by customers anywhere in the UK".
Festo stockists now have a number of options to offer customers looking for automation solutions or components in a hurry.
Each provides a local inventory for immediate collection or delivery, backed up by direct computer linked access to Europe's largest stock of pneumatic components available for next day delivery anywhere in Europe from the Festo Customer Service Centre.
In addition, stockists also have access to the unprecedented Festo Emergency Cylinder Service for same day or next day delivery with no surcharge on most popular cylinder ranges.
The new catalogue is the fastest way for the extensive resources and complementary products and services offered by the Festo stockist network.
The comprehensive catalogue clearly lists contact details, opening times, delivery options and even payment methods for each stockist, as well as providing a profile of the stockist's business.
New services promoted in this edition include details of the extensions to the Festo Emergency Cylinder manufacturing service and a dedicated section on a range of new products designed for food and pharmaceutical processing environments.
The fast turnaround emergency cylinder manufacturing service has been extended to include compact cylinders, which are now available through the Festo stockist network with no surcharge for same day replacement requirements.
The new unique food section allows easy selection of appropriate automation components for different food environments as well as providing information on how these products have been designed for these stringent environments and the legislation governing their specific application.
New products within this category include corrosion resistant cylinders and clean design valve and terminals for use in wet environments.
Beyond the comprehensive range of products featured in the new catalogue, an entirely new easy to use layout has been designed to give fast access to the products and services needed which includes pricing information.
