Festo has awarded Parker Hydraulics and Pneumatics its "Premier of the year" title.
Festo has awarded Parker Hydraulics and Pneumatics its "Premier of the year" title.
The award is bestowed on the premier stockist that demonstrates excellence in product campaigns, promotional activity, training commitment and process efficiency.
Presented to Parker by Rudi Menrad, Festo Corporate Board Director of Sales, during the National Sales Meeting at prestigious Whittlebury Hall in Northampton, the award is the second to be made by the company to its resale network partners.
All of Festo's premier stockists, over 50 companies, were entered into the competition.
Festo's premier stockists commit to a guaranteed stock holding, offer a certified level of technical product expertise and support the range with internal and field operatives and undertake to have competent trade counter staff available from 8am to 5.30pm daily and Saturdays from 8.30 to 12 noon.
By holding a large selection of Festo products in stock, they are able to more quickly and accurately meet local customers' requirements.
Parker has direct, unrestricted access to Festo's stockholding and pricing information systems, and are backed up with the full support of Festo's service team, enabling it to offer the best sales and service to the pneumatics market in its local area.
In addition, as a premier stockist, staff at Parker receive annual training from Festo to maintain technical support and service proficiency levels.
The company is also fully supported by Festo's marketing activities.
Parker Hydraulics and Pneumatics offers a complete automation solution, including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical control components to complete turnkey solutions.
