"Maintenance made easy" is a new pocket-sized accordion-fold colour brochure from Flexco.

"Maintenance made easy" is a new pocket-sized accordion-fold colour brochure from Flexco.

The document features a variety of belt conveyor products, accessories and replacement parts that solve everyday operating problems by removing carryback residue, keeping belts tracking true, avoiding off-centre loading, barring fugitive material from jamming tail pulleys, and preventing spillage under skirtboards.

The new brochure features an overview of Eliminator belt cleaners, including head-pulley precleaners and secondary cleaners, plus two exclusive and patented designs that offer the high-efficiency cleaning of tungsten-carbide blades for tough applications involving wet, sticky carryback.

Also shown is an assortment of belt-cleaner accessories and optional kits to enhance cleaning performance, including stabilising rollers to support the belt at the point of cleaner-blade contact, a cross-belt water spray pole system to improve cleaner performance in certain applications, and convenient chute access/inspection doors.

A special section opens to show a complete line of original-equipment Eliminator brand replacement parts for maintaining best cleaning efficiency, with detailed ordering information plus a panel of maintenance tips and hints.

The brochure then provides a brief a presentation of Flexco's PT Max belt trainer for heavy-duty belts, which applies an unconventional "pivot-and-tilt" action to keep the belt on track without the edge wear and damage common among steering-type pivot-only belt trainers.

Also highlighted here is the Persuader belt positioner, which uses an angled, fixed-roller design to "funnel" the return belt back into centred position to assure that it will round the tail pulley properly aligned for on-centre loading.

Next, Deflector belt ploughs are shown in V and diagonal designs that prevent debris from getting caught between the tail pulley and belt.

Also shown are Flex-Lok, a skirt-rubber clamping system that makes skirt adjustment quicker and easier, offering a Mini Flex-Lok design for skirting installed in confined spaces, and Flex-Lag ceramic and rubber pulley lagging to eliminate belt slippage and extend pulley life.

The brochure concludes with time-saving rivet- and bolt-attached Flexco7 mechanical conveyor-belt fasteners for heavy-duty bulk-handling conveyor applications.
