Deflector belt plows from Flexco work as "belt cleaners" for the tail pulley.

Deflector belt plows from Flexco work as "belt cleaners" for the tail pulley Offered in V and diagonal models, both mounted on top of the return side of the belt in front of the tail pulley, deflector plows prevent lumps, fines and debris from jamming between the belt and tail pulley

This helps avoid damage to the pulley, belting or mechanical belt splices, and solve resultant mistracking problems.

The exclusive deflector blade design, angled 20-degrees forward at the belt, lifts water and fines, spiralling them off toward the belt edge.

The spiralling action helps prevent fines from slipping under the blade and building up on the pulley, solving a problem commonly encountered with conventional vertical-blade plows.

Both models feature blades of extruded UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) urethane for high abrasion resistance and long wear life.

Worn blades are easily removed and economically replaced.

Deflector V-plows feature a V-shaped blade assembly formed in "cowcatcher" configuration, suspended by two steel linkage arms and a turnbuckle attached to a steel pole mounted to the conveyor frame above the belt, spanning the belt width.

This system holds the blade assembly downstream from the pole allowing the blade to rest on the belt and self-adjust in response to blade wear or belt movement, eliminating the need for routine manual adjustment.

The marine-grade, stainless steel turnbuckle allows the blade to be fine-tuned to the belt surface for superior cleaning performance and eliminates the chance of the plow nose digging into the belt.

The V-plow installs easily on standard conveyor structures, using mounting brackets that can be bolted or welded onto the conveyor.

An optional clamp plate kit adapts the mounting brackets to accommodate small-channel, rope or tube structures.

Deflector V-plows are available in sizes to accommodate belt widths from 450 to 2400mm.

Deflector diagonal plows are oriented at a 45-degree angle across the belt.

Their straight plow-body design assures discharge of fugitive materials to one predetermined side of the belt for easier cleanup, especially helpful on conveyors that have limited access along one side of the belt.

This design is installed in a fixed position to eliminate bouncing problems on conveyors that experience vibration at the tail pulley.

Deflector diagonal plows are available in four sizes to accommodate belts from 450 to 2100mm wide.

A heavy-duty, double-bladed, reversing-belt model is offered in sizes for belt widths from 450 to 2400mm.
