Emerson Process Management reckons the Model 3144P smart temperature transmitter is the ultimate control and safety solution.

The Rosemount division of Emerson Process Management has introduced the Model 3144P smart temperature transmitter This enhanced product solution includes dual input capability and diagnostics, making it the ultimate control and safety solution on the market

The Model 3144P temperature transmitter provides superior accuracy, stability and reliability, making it an industry leader for control and safety applications.

The unit can accept simultaneous inputs from two separate sensors, providing further capability for advanced diagnostics to increase the functionality and reliability of the temperature measurement.

The dual sensor configuration can be used for measuring differential or average temperature, or providing redundant check measurements.

The Hot Backup feature automatically switches the measurement to the second sensor if the primary sensor were to fail, providing affordable sensor redundancy.

In addition, if an unreliable measurement is detected, the sensor drift alert diagnostic feature warns the operator, using Hart digital communications, allowing time for the degrading sensor to be replaced before failure.

Improved EMI rejection and filtering results in unmatched stability in process measurement.

Third party validated metrics are available per IEC 61508 for use of the Rosemount 3144P in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).

The 3144P is a proven reliable solution for all critical temperature measurement applications.

The two-wire, field mount Model 3144P offers users the ability to improve the accuracy of temperature measurement by 75%, when using the transmitter-sensor calibration matching feature in a factory configured "complete point solution".

Other features of this dependable transmitter include an LCD meter for local indication, industry leading 5-year stability for lower maintenance costs, and a dual-compartment housing for outstanding reliability in harsh applications.
