Diaphragm seals match pressure transmitter
Fisher-Rosemount have invested in the design and development of a complete range of Diaphragm Seal Solutions, specifically to match the high specification 3051 transmitter.
Deeside Power was impressed by the class-leading accuracy and guaranteed stability of the Rosemount 3051 pressure transmitter, as this came closest to its "fit and forget" objective.
BKW then demonstrated the AMS (asset management solutions) software system, operating from a laptop to provide a predictive maintenance capability using Hart communications over its existing 4-20mA wiring.
Tony Brown and Iestyn O'Neill, C and I Technicians for Deeside Power, found this a major step forward from their existing system, particularly liking the AMS ease of use, with drop down menus and "drag and drop" options.
As well as working with the 3051 transmitters, AMS will be able to monitor and configure other Hart instruments on site.
Deeside Power was impressed with the capabilities and package on offer, and purchased 12 Rosemount transmitters - plus the AMS software, presented by Paul Baker, MD of BKW Instruments.
