The Rosemount 951 is a compact pressure transmitter designed for use in applications that require ultra low differential pressure measurement, such as the control and monitoring of differential clean room pressures and airflow measurements in HVAC systems.

The 951 is the first dry gas transmitter to offer Hart digital communications on the standard 4-20mA output, enabling customers to calibrate, rerange and configure the unit in situ, from the loop connections using a 375 portable digital communicator from Emerson.

The intelligence within the 951 can be communicated via Hart, transferring sensor diagnostic data to provide predictive sensor and process health information to those running the plant, enabling more efficient scheduled and proactive maintenance.

The best-in-class performance of the 951 can reduce operating costs by avoiding the wide control band typically delivered by previous equipment on this duty, which provides more efficient control of the HVAC systems.

The Model 951 has an unprecedented 40:1 turndown ratio, and an unparalleled stability of 0.125% of URL per year, which extends calibration cycles and reduces maintenance costs.

Inventory is also simplified in that two models cover all the standard requirements, these having operational ranges up to 4 and 25in WG full scale.
