New Sizes for Coriolis
The Micro Motion R Series Coriolis Meter, the low cost general-purpose flowmeter, Is now available in four sizes, from 1/4in through to 2in.
Coriolis meter displaces old flow techniques
The Micro Motion flowmeter enables RCS to continue development of special designs and custom engineered liquid dispensing machines for chemical companies, in both Hazardous and non-Hazardous areas
This innovative design builds the pipe reducers into the flowmeter, resulting in a meter that can measure lower flows without the expense and complexity of field assembled pipe reductions.
The Rosemount Reducer Vortex design will become the new standard for vortex meters, as nearly two-thirds of all vortex meters are smaller than the process piping in which they are installed.
The field manufacture of reduced sections of piping has been common practice, because it extends the measurable flow range by increasing the velocity through the meter.
This same capability is now available simply by using the Rosemount Reducer Vortex.
In addition to measuring lower flow rates and reducing the installation cost, Reducer Vortex also minimises the project risk.
Historically, changes in forecast process conditions would require resizing the meter, which in turn could impact the pipe layout.
The result was time and money spent changing drawings and even pipework.
The Rosemount Reducer Vortex design maintains the standard face-to-face dimension of the Rosemount vortex meter family, allowing the user to change the meter selection without the risk of impacting the piping layout or drawings.
The Model 8800CR Reducer Vortex uses the well known Rosemount meter design, with its gasket-free, reliable construction and isolated sensor design.
The Rosemount 8800 uses digital intelligence to deliver the device and process information to power the Emerson PlantWeb digital plant architecture to deliver asset management, process automation, and management execution.
Further cost savings, increased plant availability, enhanced safety and environmental compliance are achieved when the flowmeters are integrated into PlantWeb architecture.
The Model 8800CR Reducer Vortex product line further enhances the flow capability from Emerson Process Management, which includes Coriolis, DP flow, vortex and magnetic flowmeters.
