Fibox has made a number of important enhancements and improvements to its popular CAB range of enclosures, including even more robust door hinges and latches as well as a new side mounted lock assembly Manufactured using high impact resistant polycarbonate or ABS, Fibox CAB enclosures are already used widely where components need to be protected from harsh or hostile environments

In many applications, packing density and accessibility are prime considerations for OEM manufacturers and control panel builders.

By providing a side mounted lock assembly on the doors of the new CAB range, Fibox has increased the space available on the front face of the door, where components can be mounted, while maintaining the enclosures' security and high IP rating.

Improvements have been made to the door hinge and latch assemblies, while the size range has been further extended to include both portrait and landscape format versions of the CAB enclosure.

These enhancements make CAB a genuine, corrosion resistant alternative to the traditional sheet steel wall mounting enclosures commonly used in the panel building and OEM industries.

Using a unique swing design, developed by Fibox, internal front plates can be opened to a full 90 degrees on CAB enclosures, making access to components easy, while maximising the packing density of each enclosure.

The plates are also designed for variable fitting within the depth of the enclosure.

Fibox enclosures are available in standard or customised configurations, are chemical and UV resistant, rated from IP54 to IP67 and capable of operating across a temperature range from -40 to +120C.
