A Fibox product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 30, 2006

The Quicklock system provides an ideal locking mechanism to secure a variety of electrical and electronic components that need to be quickly accessed in hostile industrial environments.

Fibox reckons it understands the importance of providing its customers with fully integrated products and solutions in answer to a whole host of enclosure applications that are required to operate effectively, in hostile and sometimes hazardous, areas.

That's why the company has designed the new Quicklock system.

Manufactured from high quality polycarbonate or ABS, ingress rated IP65 and with the ability to be fitted to the entire range of Fibox enclosures, the Quicklock system provides operators with the ideal locking mechanism to secure a variety of electrical and electronic components that need to be quickly accessed in certain situations that arise in harsh and hostile industrial environments.

The patent pending Quicklock design will firmly secure the enclosure with only a quarter turn of the screw.

Steve Gallon, Fibox, Managing Director explains: "The development of the new Quicklock system, is in direct response to the increased demand from customers who build, refurbish and need rapid access to industrial control devices and systems, especially specialist measuring, monitoring and process control equipment that are often installed within hazardous environments".
