Filtermist reckons it now offers the widest range of oil mist collectors of any manufacturer in the world, thanks to the introduction of two new FiltermistXcel units.
Combining high filtration efficiency with compact size, lightness and quiet operation, the FiltermistXcel oil mist filter provides the most effective method available for protecting operator health, saving energy and reducing waste.
New products featured on the stand were the stainless-steel FiltermistXcel, the FiltermistXcel chip separator, the FiltermistXcel braked motor unit and a large capacity addition to the standard FiltermistXcel range.
The stainless-steel unit is designed for use in parts washing applications where the unit will be in frequent contact with highly corrosive chemicals.
The chip separator is a fully integrated and compact two-stage unit that provides extremely effective collection of chips and grit that may be carried along with the oil mist in some grinding applications.
The braked motor unit is designed for neat oil machining operations where there may be a risk of fire.
In the event of an emergency shutdown, the unit will stop operating immediately, avoiding any danger of venting a fire within the machine tool.
The large capacity FiltermistXcel FX7000 oil mist filter has an airflow capacity of 2450m3/h and is designed for large machining centres.
