Filtermist has developed a novel unit that allows optimal positioning of an oil mist collecting hood while maintaining easy access to the tool and workpiece.

The arm is self supporting and spring loaded so it stays exactly where the user positions it, ensuring that the powerful suction of the FiltermistXcel oil mist filter is used to maximum efficiency in collecting oil mist.

It is then a simple case of pushing the hood out of position in order to gain full access to the machine, to dress the grinding wheels on an open grinder for example.

FiltermistXtraction arms are available in various sizes.

Units with 100, 150 and 200mm diameter ducting with 1.5, 2 and 3m arms can be supplied.

The ducting links to a FiltermistXcel unit that is usually wall or stand mounted.

This creates a stand-alone and easily moved oil mist removal system for highly flexible operation.
