Pneumatic power cleans components

A Filtermist International product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 29, 2003

Filtermist has launched an innovative component cleaning cabinet powered by compressed air.

Filtermist, the Bridgnorth-based cleaning and filtration specialist, has launched an innovative component cleaning cabinet powered by compressed air.

A handheld airgun is used in conjunction with a powerful venturi extraction system in the cabinet to quickly and effectively remove any fluid, dust or chips remaining on a component.

This dual action provides highly effective cleaning and prevents any harmful particles and fluids from entering the workshop atmosphere.

The unit then collects fluid and chip debris in an internal container for safe and convenient disposal.

The simple air operation, with no electrical connections required, means the unit can be positioned within the factory very quickly and easily.

No moving parts within the cabinet means that maintenance is virtually eliminated.
