Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 14, 2005

The FiltermistXcel2 range of oil mist filters boasts a series of innovative performance and cost saving features claimed to benefit machine tool workshops and new markets throughout the world.

The new FiltermistXcel2 range of oil mist filters is new for 2005.

The seven new units boast a series of innovative performance and cost saving features that will benefit machine tool workshops and new markets throughout the world.

New motors throughout the FiltermistXcel2 range mean that each unit, with the exception of the FX7000, can operate at a variety of low and high voltages and also at either 50 or 60Hz.

This flexibility greatly simplifies product selection and allows each filter to cover a much wider range of applications throughout the world as standard.

In particular, this dual cycle capability means the new FX6000 model provides up to 2400m3/h at 60Hz, a performance that was not available with the previous model.

All motors in the range hold exhaustive certification to cover the numerous American, European and International standards.

The FiltermistXcel2 range also features an entirely new unit.

The FX3000 has been developed to provide a highly cost effective solution for small machines generating high levels of oil mist.

Lightweight, with extremely compact dimensions and using a 0.55kW motor, the FX3000 reliably achieves airflow extraction of up to 800m3/h at 50Hz (950m3/h at 60Hz).

The new FiltermistXcel2 range, available now in the UK, will provide the widest range of extraction airflows (from 180 to 2750m3/h) available from any manufacturer in the world.
