Kurt Carlson has been appointed the new Managing Director of Fixturlaser.

Kurt Carlson has been appointed the new Managing Director of Fixturlaser.

He is well prepared for his new assignment; he has an MSc degree in engineering physics from KTH (the Royal Institute of Technology) in Stockholm with solid experience from leading positions with a number of Swedish high technological companies.

He has worked as optics designer and development engineer with Bofors Aerotronics, head of optics development at Victor Hasselblad, manager, first in the development department and later in the production department, with Ericsson Saab Avionics.

He has also worked as co-ordinator within the basestation development of 3G in Ericsson Radio Systems and lately as responsible for sales at Optronic Kurt Carlson is a strong believer in the Swedish leadership model, which is based on coaching and team spirit, but he also has a strong competitive instinct.

This will no doubt bring even greater success to Fixturlaser than to date.

The sales in practically all of the 70 countries where Fixturlaser is represented have shown an increase the first five months of 2002 compared with the same period last year.

In Sweden the sales increase is close to 30%.
