Jointly produced by FIZ Karlsruhe and FIZ Technik, Frankfurt/Main, Germany, Entec contains, among others, information on fossil sources of energy, nuclear energy, energy fusion and renewable energy sources.
Further subjects covered by Entec are research and application matters as well as energy policy and energy management.
At present, the data pool comprises approximately 650,000 citations.
Every year approximately 20,000 new documents are added.
Entec features a powerful search engine with a user-friendly interface allowing a well directed search for information also to those unfamiliar with search techniques.
The search can be conducted either by using a quick search mask or an expert search mask offering a vast number of search criteria.
As a first search result the database provides a list of titles which then lead to abstracts with bibliographical data.
