Flexicon conduit fitting has push-fit connection

A Flexicon product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 30, 2009

Flexicon claims that its slimline, push-fit Flexilok conduit fitting will dramatically speed up installation times.

Like the threaded version of Flexilok, users push the fitting onto the conduit and then twist to secure.

The fitting features a push-fit connection for terminating the conduit into the enclosure or panel, eliminating the need for a locknut.

This also eliminates the need for access to the inside of the panel or enclosure.

Instead of using a locknut, the design offers a spring-loaded fixing, allowing users to push the fitting into the hole to secure it.

An additional O-ring improves the seal between the fitting and the enclosure, giving up to an IP66 rating.

Push-fit Flexilok can be used with fine or coarse pitch nylon, polypropylene and PVC conduits.

It can be used with 20, 21, 25, 28 and 34mm conduits with 20, 25 and 32mm knockouts.

The fitting is made from PA66 and is available in black as standard and grey or white on request.
