Flender has published figures to support its geared motor range showing that, fitted with a typical 7.5kW 4 pole motor, an eff1 unit can pay for itself within 15 months

Flender Power Transmission is now supplying the latest energy efficient geared motors from stock and demand is exceptionally high.

As the first bills are issued under the Climate Change Levy, demand for energy efficient units has escalated sharply, as Flender's Paul Dudley confirms: "Now the enhanced capital allowances have been passed, so there has suddenly been a sharp focus onto this area.

Companies can qualify for these allowances with our energy efficient geared motors, and we're finding demand has risen phenomenally within the last few weeks." Flender has published figures to support its geared motor range showing that, fitted with a typical 7.5kW 4 pole motor, an eff1 unit can pay for itself within 15 months, when compared to a typical eff3 motor.

Flender eff1 units are available from 0.18kW and provide a compact solution, with 'dry change' facility.

Same day build and despatch from the company's Bradford headquarters is available too.

Flender will also shortly have braked eff1 motors available from stock.
