Flender's Motox Master motor integrated frequency inverters have been specified by BCH Coates Engineering for a food mixer drive and pump.

Both comprise Flender CF81 geared motor units that incorporate Siemens Micro Master integrated variable frequency inverters, and they have 0.75kW rated motors.

The units have robust die-cast aluminium enclosures, with enclosure ratings of IP65.

BCH Coates sales manager Dave Tod described the Flender units: "Both units are for use in sauce mixing plants.

Our customer, a leading name in the food industry, is delighted with their performance, and has in addition admired them as aesthetically pleasing - an added bonus!".

BCH was established in 1835, and specialises in turnkey systems for the food and confectionery industries, using the latest PLC technology.

Flender's Motox Master units feature programmable digital inputs, relay outputs, and a host of integrated functions.

Of particular benefit for customers is that all features are programmable with hand held module or via a PC.

This enables parameters to be precisely set and copied to other drives or stored for future reference.

As Flender managing director Nick Garthwaite confirms: "This range of fully integrated products answers the needs of a wide variety of customers seeking the best quality, reliability and performance".
