Flender Power Transmission is exhibiting at Hillhead for the first time, with an extensive range of gear units, geared motors and ATEX compliant couplings for heavy industry.
Flender Power Transmission is exhibiting at Hillhead for the first time, with an extensive range of gear units, geared motors and ATEX compliant couplings for heavy industry.
Flender supplies high performing, reliable products for the world's most hostile environments, from quarrying and materials handling to paper-making, power generation and water treatment.
One example is the renowned FZG helical/bevel helical unit, with an excellent torque capacity - in excess of 850,000 Nm - and ratios from 1.25:1 up to 462:1.
This rugged unit is found in the world's toughest environments, combining high power capacity with great versatility.
Other established Flender products include the Motox range of geared motors, such as the latest eff1 high efficiency units, as well as a newly upgraded Motox Master range of motor integrated frequency inverters featuring the latest Siemens technology.
These now save labour/installation time and hardware space through being fully integrated, self-cooling and able to operate in temperatures from -10 to +40C, with enclosure ratings to IP66.
Flender's well-proven ranges of Cavex worm gear units will also be on display.
Flender will also be demonstrating its mobile GearController diagnostic and condition monitoring system at Hillhead, successfully used worldwide by many types of industries to enable scheduled servicing and plant shutdowns.
