A Flir Systems product story

Large electronic equipment rental company Livngston Hire confirms a second order for two FLIR Systems Thermacam 595 thermal imaging cameras.

People hire thermal imaging cameras for a wide variety of purposes.

Naturally the majority of applications are in industrial environments for checking the health of plant and systems.

However at Livingston, customer applications have recently ranged beyond the norm, from furnace liner inspection to hostage surveillance and the production of thermal images of dogs for a TV advertisement! Such a broad spectrum of users and applications requires a suite of thermal imaging cameras that in addition to being high precision instruments, are easy to use.

For this reason Livingston has standardised on FLIR Systems products and at Maintec, confirmed its order for a further two Thermacam PM595 uncooled systems.

Livingston is one of the world's foremost suppliers of computer, communications, environmental and test systems with an inventory of over 200,000 products.

With offices in Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden and the UK, Livingston is by far Europe's largest electronic equipment rental supplier.

The company, which has an established reputation for quality products and support, invests only in high technology equipment that will uphold this status.

"The FLIR Systems cameras are exceptionally well built, rugged, easy to use, lightweight and reliable," confirms Livingston's Marketing Manager David Tucker.

"These factors are particularly important in a hire instrument." Product Manager Giles Donnelly continues, "The Thermacam PM595 is a really good camera and allows us to offer our customers the advantages of an uncooled system.

It's ready to use as soon as you switch it on." This new order further strengthens Livingston's substantial inventory of Thermacam PM595 and other FLIR Systems cameras.
