High speed digital thermal image capture

The ThermaCAM RESEARCHERT HS package provides digital image and data acquisition up to a maximum rate of 750Hz.

Complementing the unrivalled measurement accuracy and image stability that characterises FLIR Systems' new, top-of-the-range SC3000 QWIP thermal imaging camera, is the ThermaCAM RESEARCHERT HS package This product provides digital image and data acquisition up to a maximum rate of 750Hz, making it ideal for applications which call for the thermal analysis of highly dynamic objects and events

Supplied complete with Windows NTT desktop or portable PC, ThermaCAM RESEARCHER HS will prove particularly valuable to those involved in R and D and scientific applications where the object or system under analysis experiences rapid changes in surface temperature.

The software offers powerful built-in measurement functions for fast and extensive temperature analysis including isotherms, spot measurements, line profiles and area histograms.

All measurement tools allow independent emissivity and distance settings.

It also automatically converts IR images into AVI, BMP or Matlab formats and is fully compatible with Windows-based word processing packages for easy report generation.

Analysis capabilities can be easily customised.

There are several features which provide this flexibility.

They include flexible screen layout, automatic adjustment for optimum image quality, user-defined recording conditions, sequence editing, measurement tool graphics, comprehensive result tables and OLE-2 technology.

For less demanding R and D applications, FLIR Systems also offers two software options.

RESEARCHER ST allows the analysis of static images stored in the IR camera on the PC card whilst RESEARCHER RT provides real-time IR image and data analysis up to a maximum rate of 7Hz. Request a free brochure from Flir Systems ...
