Small, smart and flexible claims for IR
camera
The latest addition to the ThermaCAM E-Series of miniature infra-red cameras combines a highly sensitive infra-red detector with versatile postprocessing capabilities and high operational flexibility.
The latest addition to the ThermaCAM E-Series of miniature infra-red cameras combines a highly sensitive infra-red detector with versatile postprocessing capabilities and high operational flexibility The ThermaCAM E4 provides unmatched temperature measurement accuracy and best image quality
A measurement can be taken from any one of 19,200 pixels that comprise each image.
And to ensure the camera can be adapted to suit the widest possible range of applications, it has interchangeable optics.
Two sizes of telescope and a wide-angle lens are optionally available.
Easy to use and representing excellent value for money, this torch-style camera quickly pinpoints hotspots.
It offers precise, noncontact temperature measurement, crisp thermal imaging, in-field JPEG thermal image analysis and storage and both qualitative and quantitative post-analysis and reporting.
Its price to performance ratio is unique in the current market.
The ThermaCAM E4 has a thermal sensitivity of 0.12C that not only allows the user to see the smallest of temperature changes but also provides exceptionally clear, noise-free images.
Details of these temperature changes are clearly visible on the unit's 2.5in colour LCD.
TV rate imaging of 50Hz enables the camera to be used on moving targets and to record subtle temperature changes in real-time.
Another high-end feature of the ThermaCAM E4 is its built-in Laser LocatIR that acts as a laser pointer.
This helps the user associate the image displayed with the actual physical target and enhances operational safety.
The ThermaCAM E4 contains all the analysis tools needed to make in-the-field decisions on live and saved images.
These include moveable crosshairs for the measurement and analysis of up to three simultaneous measurement points and the calculation of differences between two measurement points.
Predefined emissivity values for frequently inspected materials are available from a drop down menu available in the camera, and custom values can also be used.
Audible and visual alarms that are activated if a preset trigger temperature is exceeded are further in-built features.
This new E-Series addition has been designed to withstand harsh industrial environments and weather conditions.
Dust and splash proof, the ThermaCAM E4 meets IP54 standards.
Its lightweight, long-life battery ensures up to 2h of uninterrupted inspection.
An internal battery charger is standard with this model as is a car charger adapter that allows the unit to be powered-up en route to the next job.
The camera stores up to 100 infra-red pictures in standard, radiometric JPEG format allowing instant viewing and sharing of images without special viewing software.
When connected to a PC via USB or RS232 cables, the installed ThermaCAM ConnectIR software automatically downloads stored images and data that can be easily inserted into any Windows-based word processing program.
For users with a need for an enhanced postprocessing capability, the system is also fully compatible with the optionally available ThermaCAM Reporter package for automated report generation and detailed post-processing and analysis.
The ThermaCAM E4 is designed to clip onto a belt or fit easily into a toolbox.
At its weight of less than 700g, this is lightest and smartest thermal imaging camera in the world. Request a free brochure from Flir Systems ...
