More scope for Irish distribution
Irish distributor Butler Technologies has enjoyed considerable early success with Flir Systems' infra-red cameras and has now extended the scope of its representation deal.
Flir Systems has been at the forefront of industrial thermal imaging for more than 30 years and now claims to be the world leader in this technology Broadly, its extensive range of infra-red cameras fall into two distinct application areas, those that require excellent thermal image quality but no temperature measurement and those that require precise temperature measurement and analysis through high quality thermal imaging

With the introduction of the new ThermaCAM SC500, FLIR Systems is able to extend the benefits of its patented solid state microbolometer detector techlogy to the R and D community.
It is the former field in which Flir distributor, Butler Technologies, enjoyed considerable early success with Flir Systems' infra-red cameras and has now led to this Irish company extending the scope of its representation.
Based in Maynooth, County Kildare, Butler Technologies is now one of Ireland's leading suppliers to the communications sector whose solution-providing expertise is finding favour in a wider industrial community.
Pharmaceutical manufacturing is one of its burgeoning markets, a sector that has a high requirement for manufacturing process monitoring and control.
"Flir Systems' A-series infra-red cameras are ideal for this type of application", confirms MD Flor Butler.
"They offer flexibility in terms of size and performance so that a system can be virtually purpose-built from standard modules to suit the precise needs of the application".
As well as representing Flir Systems A-series interests, Butler Technologies is also responsible for the sale of the company's E-Series, torch-style infra-red cameras in Ireland.
In common with the A-series, this product range also provides temperature measurement and imaging-only options.
The new top-of-the-range ThermaCAM E65 is the only model of its type to include interchangeable optics and basic reporting software, both as standard.
However, it is with the imaging-only E-Series ThermoVision Scout model that Butler Technologies has already secured a substantial order.
This product has been specifically designed for law enforcement and search and rescue applications.
It allows the user to detect human presence in complete darkness, fog, and in hard-to-access places such as attics.
Its ability to ensure that surveillance is both discrete and safe has resulted in Butler Technologies receiving an order to supply a quantity of Scout for high-level and sensitive security applications in Ireland. Request free introductory details about products from Flir Systems ...
