Flir Systems has developed its new and extremely powerful ThermaCAM Reporter software for the ThermaCAM range of infra-red imaging cameras.
Analysing infra-red images and reporting the results of infra-red inspections are important everyday tasks for any professional thermographer.
To simplify and speed the work involved, Flir Systems has developed its new and extremely powerful ThermaCAM Reporter software for the ThermaCAM range of infra-red imaging cameras.
As this latest software fully integrates with Microsoft Word, the thermographer can use all the familiar word processing features to enhance the infra-red report.
In an easy, step-by-step process the Report Wizard in ThermaCAM Reporter 7 guides the user through the process of acquiring infra-red and visual images, measurement data, text and voice comments.
It then automatically integrates them into a custom template making the process of report generation both simple and quick.
If the user is interrupted before the report is completed, it can be saved and finished later.
The resulting inspection report looks highly professional and clearly communicates the critical details needed to make cost-effective decisions.
Alternatively, the Rapid Report Manager feature enables users to create desktop icons based on pre-defined report templates.
To create a report automatically in one simple move, the user drags and drops images onto the desktop icon.
A report summary can also be created instantly with the time-saving summary table tool.
ThermaCAM Reporter 7 automatically associates infra-red and visual images and inserts voice and text fields from the camera.
It provides powerful temperature analysis and automatic formula calculation, supports multiple infra-red image formats and is network friendly.
Powerful histogram and line profile graph features facilitate more advanced analysis.
AVI files recorded by ThermaCAM P- or S-Series cameras can also be played back within Reporter 7, an important facility for analysing images taken from moving targets.
Other notable features include digital zoom, colour palette changes, and automatic conversion of any report to Adobe.pdf format.
ThermaCAM Reporter 7 is available in two versions, Basic and Professional.
Basic provides simple analysis features but excludes templates.
Thermographers requiring all the advanced features including Report Wizard and Quick Insert as well as the option to insert histograms, fields, photos and summary tables, should select the Professional version.
