UK events will cover all major NDT
technologies
Olympus NDT has organised, with nine other NDT instrument manufacturers and training schools, a series of events that will be held during the autumn of 2005 and spring of 2006.

The technologies being represented are ultrasonics, for flaw detection and thickness gauging; computerised radiography; thermal imaging; remote visual inspection; high speed camera systems; X-ray equipment and systems; MPI; dye penetrant; phased array and TOFD ultrasonics; automated systems; eddy current; RFI; MFL; product rental; ACFM; and NDT training and consultancy.
The venues include Manchester United's Old Trafford, Leeds United's Elland Road, Sunderland AFC's 'The Stadium of Light', Aberdeen's Pittodrie Stadium, and the Millennium Stadium at Cardiff.
The other venues are Derby County's Pride Park, Ipswich Town's Portman Road, Southampton's St Mary's Stadium, Bristol City's Ashton Gate and Livingston's Almondvale Stadium.
The doors will open at 10am and will close at 7pm at each event.
As an additional attraction there will be free tours of the stadiums along with some other football related activities and several opportunities to win free match tickets and other major prizes.
The format of these events will be twofold - as an exhibition where the latest technologies and products will be on display but most importantly as an educational forum with ten technical presentations, real-time technology demonstrations, and hands-on practice with various instruments.
