Infra-red cameras to look snappy at
Nemex

There is a choice of lenses for its lower-end cameras allowing them to be used for a wider range of tasks and to be tailored for optimum performance.
The company spent $51.5m last year on research, up 12.5% on the previous year and representing 10% of turnover.
The entire Thermacam B-Series will be at Nemex with an extended temperature measurement span.
From the professional Thermacam B20 down to the find-it-fix-it B2, all models measure from -20 to +100C.
The thermal sensitivity of the building-specific B-Series is 80mK but two 50mK resolution models have been added to the range.
These uncooled models, the B20HS and B20HSV, allow highly sensitive thermal mapping of structures and architectural features enabling detailed diagnosis of problems.
They provide immediate, high-resolution documentation of as-built or post-restoration quality, post-casualty cause and origin data, plumbing and building envelope water leakage, water-damaged material assessment, energy efficiency, roofing and rodent or pest discovery.
The only feature to differentiate the two models is an integral visual camera with the B20HSV.
In common with the HS and HSV models, the B20 professional camera has an automatic dew point identification alarm.
In the past, determining areas susceptible for condensation and potential mould-growth was a long and drawn out exercise.
Complicated calculations on a PC with specialist software were required.
With the B20, the risk can be assessed on site and in real time.
Lower in the range is the B4, developed at the request of customers that are attracted by the easy-to-use B2 but need a sharp image on which the smallest of temperature differences can be detected.
The 320 x 240 pixel uncooled detector provides such image quality.
The B2 is designed to provide a quick and easy, non-invasive method of monitoring and diagnosing the condition of building structures.
An automatic dew point alarm is a standard feature.
The Thermacam P-Series remains the professional thermographer's choice and the top-of-the-range P65 provides real-time performance with thermal sensitivity.
This infra-red camera contains every element needed to increase the potential of thermography.
With the introduction of its Thermacam E-Series torch style infra-red cameras, Flir brought thermography within reach of all engineering professionals.
All models in the E-Series are built with ULIS detectors.
This means they are immune from licensing issues.
Infracam is Flir's low-end flagship product with a 120 x 120 uncooled FPA that displays a crisp image in a choice of colour palettes.
Next in line is the E45 that captures highly sensitive images on its 160 x 120 array and provides advanced analysis of radiometric JPeg images in the field or via a PC.
With this model and above are exchangeable lenses, with a choice of standard, telephoto and wide-angle lenses.
With its 320 x 240 array, the E300 has good image quality for its price.
The E320 introduces 4x digital zoom and advanced analysis features such as auto hot spot indicators, differential and three-spot temperature measurement, audible alarm and emissivity settings. Request free introductory details about products from Flir Systems ...
