Flir is running a programme of research and development seminars that will demonstrate the scope of infrared in electronics, physics and manufacturing engineering.

The seminars will show users how to capture and record thermal distribution and variations in real time and see and accurately measure heat patterns, dissipation, leakage and other temperature factors.

These free half-day seminars will include hands-on demonstrations of the camera options available.

They will be held: in Cambridge on 21 April 2009; at TWI Birmingham on 23 April 2009; at Aston Science Park, Dublin on 28 April 2009; and at the Clarion Hotel, Liffey Valley, Falkirk on 30 April 2009.
