Flir Systems and Extech have come together to offer a service for finding and resolving electrical faults.
Extech - a Flir company since 2008 - offers a wide range of test and measurement instrumentation.
Flir's hand-held thermal imaging cameras can detect electrical faults
With both companies offering expertise in electrical maintenance, together they can provide a dedicated range of product packages that ensure quick inspection and repair.
Flir thermal imaging cameras can find the problem and Extech instruments are then used to solve it.
Flir hand-held thermal imaging cameras can detect minor variations in temperature that can signal trouble.
One pass of the camera across fuses, electrical panels, bolted connections and switchgear will show hot spots.
Extech instruments help to ensure the fault doesn't develop into costly failure.
The Extech range includes multimeters, clamp meters and other electrical testers.
